Calling All Alumni! Get Ready for Redfield’s All-School Reunion
June 13, 2025
Come one, come all! To the Redfield All School Reunion, that is!
The festivities will kick off on Friday, June 27th, at 7:00 p.m. with a meet and greet at the Greeno Building. Bring your favorite person and introduce them to your old friends and classmates!
The fun continues on Saturday, June 28th, with tours of the school from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, followed by a banquet at 6:00 p.m. For more information, call 605-460-0082.
“Welcome home to Redfield! We are rolling out the “BLUE” carpet for all RHS alumni!” said Redfield Area Chamber of Commerce director Kim Leonhardt. “Main Street will be bustling with school spirit, friendly, familiar faces, and plenty of fun activities! Be sure to grab your Redfield swag bag with coupons at participating businesses! GO PHEASANTS!”
Passport Ready?
Attendees of the weekend-long event will be given a welcome bag filled with goodies and a Passport. Tour the town by visiting some of our favorite checkpoints, such as the Carnegie Library, C&NW RR Depot, and our new mural (more on that below!). Visit a total of 7 locations, and you will qualify to win CHAMBER BUCKS!
But that’s just the beginning of this amazing community celebration!
Swift On Their Feet
Ladies and gentlemen, start your… pigs? Grab a lawn chair and get ready to cheer on your favorite swine during the Redfield Pig Races!
That’s right. Swifty Swine Swimming and Racing Pig Show is coming to town! You’re in for a real treat, but so are they. No, they’re not going for gold; it’s an Oreo cookie served on a silver platter that awaits the swiftest swine! Check out this video showing how America’s Fastest Swine cross the finish line!
Held on Saturday, June 28th at Justin Haiders located at 38644 US Highway 212, the family fun is guaranteed! Gates open at 1 p.m. Join us for food trucks, music by DJ Doctor, a 50/50 raffle, and the greatest race of all. Free admission!
We would also love it if you would consider bringing a non-perishable food item to donate to the Tri-County Good Samaritan program.
“Literally, the event of the year!” said Leonhardt. “Show-stopping fun with guaranteed laughs that you won’t want to miss!”
The Big Reveal
During the All School Reunion weekend, we’ll be unveiling our new pheasant wing mural!
The inspiration behind this work of art is to continue branding Redfield as the Pheasant Capital of the World©. Don’t miss out on this amazing photo op for all ages… whether you’re a local or touring the town!
“Our newest mural is a MUST SEE!” said Leonhardt. “Be sure to stop and snap a photo and share with your friends on social media! Charming, small town South Dakota at its best right here in Redfield! Let’s team up and get Redfield on the map!”
